I was born in Athens in 1972. I studied French, in the Faculty of French Language and Literature of the School of Philosophy at the Athens University, and Archaeology, in the Faculty of History and Archaeology of the School of Philosophy at the Ioannina University. Ι fulfilled my postgraduate studies in the University of Lumiere Lyon II in France at the Institut d’Egyptologie Victor Loret – Maison de l’ Orient Mediterraneen, obtaining the title of Master of Arts (MA) (DEA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (Doctorat Nouveau Regime) in Egyptology (2001), with the highest distinction, on “L’histoire des collections d’antiquité égyptienne du musée national d’Athènes”. I was granted a Post-Doctoral Scholarship by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (2005). The History of Egyptology, Egyptian History of Art, Epigraphic and the writing of the ancient Egyptian Culture are at the centre of my research interests.
I acted as Scientific Consultant in the re-exhibition of the Egyptian Collections of the National Archaeological Museum at Athens (May 2008), while I have been working on a regular basis on the writing of the bilingual (Greek – French) scientific catalogue of the inscribed sculptures of the aforementioned collection of NAM, which is expected to be published in 2018. I have also acted as a Scientific Consultant in the underwater researches in Alexandria by the Institute of Ancient and Medieval Alexandria. I am the author of the texts included in the album of the Archaeological Patriarchal Museum of Alexandria that was presented in Alexandria in October 2017.
Since 2005, I am a member of the excavation team of the Ioannina University working in the Jordan Valley (Tell Kafrein), in Jordan, while I have also been a member of the excavation team of the French Institute of Oriental Archaeology in Cairo (IFAO) at the site of Coptos, north of Luxor.
From 2009 to the spring semester of 2011 I taught (Lecturer, P.D. 407/80) courses concerning the ancient Egyptian Culture and the Hieroglyphics of the Middle Kingdom, in the Faculty of History and Archaeology of the School of Philosophy at the Ioannina University. From 2013 to 2015 I instructed the lesson of Hieroglyphics, titled “Unlocking the sacred letters of the ancient Egyptians”, in the adult training program at the Benaki Museum.
I am also a founding member of the Administrative Board of the newly established Association of the Friends of the Museum and the Archaeological Site of Thermos.
Since 2009 I work as an archaeologist-host in the New Acropolis Museum.

Γεννήθηκα στην Αθήνα το 1972. Σπούδασα στο Τμήμα Γαλλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και Αρχαιολογία στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων. Πραγματοποίησα μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο πανεπιστήμιο Lumiere Lyon II (Institut d’Egyptologie Victor Loret – Maison de l’Orient Mediterraneen) στη Γαλλία, από όπου απέκτησα μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο (DEA) και διδακτορικό τίτλο (Doctorat Nouveau Regime) στην Αιγυπτιολογία (2001), με την ανώτατη διάκριση, έχοντας ως θέμα “L’histoire des collections d’antiquité égyptienne du musée national d’Athènes”. Υπήρξα μεταδιδακτορικός υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ) το 2005. Η Ιστορία της Αιγυπτιολογίας, η ιστορία της Αιγυπτιακής τέχνης, η Επιγραφική και η γραφή του αρχαίου Αιγυπτιακού πολιτισμού βρίσκονται στο επίκεντρο των ερευνητικών μου ενδιαφερόντων.
Έχω διατελέσει επιστημονικός σύμβουλος στην επανέκθεση των Αιγυπτιακών Συλλογών του Εθνικού Αρχαιολογικού Μουσείου (Μάιος 2008), ενώ εργάζομαι συστηματικά για τη συγγραφή του δίγλωσσου (Ελληνικά – Γαλλικά) επιστημονικού καταλόγου των ενεπίγραφων γλυπτών της ανωτέρω συλλογής του ΕΑΜ, ο οποίος αναμένεται να εκδοθεί μέσα στο 2018. Έχω, επίσης, διατελέσει επιστημονικός σύμβουλος στις ενάλιες έρευνες στην Αλεξάνδρεια που διενεργούνται από το Ινστιτούτο Αρχαίας και Μεσαιωνικής Αλεξάνδρειας. Ακόμη, είμαι συντάκτης των κειμένων του λευκώματος του Αρχαιολογικού Πατριαρχικού Μουσείου Αλεξανδρείας, που παρουσιάστηκε τον Οκτώβριο του 2017 στην Αλεξάνδρεια.
Από το 2005 είμαι μέλος της ανασκαφικής ομάδας του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων, που δραστηριοποιείται στην Κοιλάδα του Ιορδάνη (Tell Kafrein), στην Ιορδανία, ενώ συμμετείχα και στην ανασκαφική ομάδα του Γαλλικού Ινστιτούτου Ανατολικής Αρχαιολογίας του Καΐρου (IFAO), στη θέση Κόπτο, βόρεια του Λούξορ.
Από το 2009 έως και το εαρινό εξάμηνο του 2011 δίδαξα (Λέκτορας, Π.Δ. 407/80) μαθήματα σχετικά με τον αρχαίο Αιγυπτιακό πολιτισμό και την Ιερογλυφική γραφή του Μέσου Βασιλείου, στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων. Από το 2013 έως το 2015 δίδαξα το μάθημα της Ιερογλυφικής γραφής, με τίτλο «Ξεκλειδώνοντας τα ιερά γράμματα των αρχαίων Αιγυπτίων», στο πρόγραμμα επιμόρφωσης ενηλίκων του Μουσείου Μπενάκη.
Επίσης, είμαι ιδρυτικό μέλος του Δ.Σ. του νεοσύστατου συλλόγου των Φίλων του Μουσείου και του Αρχαιολογικού Χώρου του Θέρμου.
Από το 2009 εργάζομαι ως αρχαιολόγος-φροντιστής στο Νέο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης.
